Dongwook Yang, D.D.S., Ph.D.
Co-Founder & CEO, Moustra
Dongwook is the co-founder and CEO of Moustra. He holds a D.D.S. and Ph.D. and spent more than a decade in biomedical research at Baylor College of Medicine and the Texas Medical Center, where he ran mouse colonies day-to-day for molecular biology and human genetics work.
At the bench he kept seeing the same problem: every lab he joined tracked breeding, genotypes, and IACUC compliance in a different spreadsheet, and the spreadsheets always broke once more than one person touched them. He started Moustra to fix that — a purpose-built platform for mouse colony management, written by people who have actually managed colonies.
