Edit or delete any health record straight from its timeline card. The form also names the animal or cage it is writing to and adds a back arrow, so a typo is no longer permanent and leaving no longer means scrolling past the whole form.

Health records now join the other forms in field customization. Seven everyday fields show by default — observed at, trigger, weight, body condition, narrative, disposition, and recheck date — with the full clinical exam one toggle away, and your choice sticks.
Health Records for Animals and Cages
A Health tab on every animal and cage records weights, body condition, clinical signs, and dispositions, and charts weight and BCS over time. The clinical vocabulary now works for every lab, so the sign and disposition dropdowns arrive pre-filled and you can add your own terms.
Anyone in the Lab Can Add a Species
Recording a species your lab has started keeping no longer waits on a lab admin — any member can add, rename, or deactivate one.

Keep Any Species Your Lab Works With
Species is now your lab's own list rather than a fixed Mouse-or-Rat choice. Add, rename, reorder, and deactivate species from the Species page, and a new strain adopts your lab's species automatically.
Lifecycle Defaults for Each Species
Every species carries its own wean age, biopsy age, gestation period, and maturity age, so planned dates and reminders are calculated from the right numbers for the animals you actually keep.
Pending Invitations Are Visible
Inviting someone who already has a Moustra account used to leave no trace on the lab users list. Both invite paths now appear there with a status chip, so you can see the invitation happened and withdraw it if it was a mistake.
A Faster App Under Load
Each server instance now serves eight requests at once instead of one, removing the queueing behind the occasional slow page at busy times of day.
Failed Actions Now Tell You What Went Wrong
When an action you confirm in a dialog fails, Moustra now shows the reason instead of quietly doing nothing. Deactivate is also hidden on your own account, since that was never a permitted action.
Straighter Answers from Cheese AI
Cheese AI now answers questions about plans and lab size from the documentation instead of guessing, and no longer implies a seat limit that does not exist.
Invitations Can Be Resent on Request
If an invite email never arrives, support can now resend the original invitation — or hand over the invite link directly — without invalidating the link already sent or restarting the reminder schedule.
