How to Customize Form Fields
Every create and edit form in Moustra can be trimmed to the fields you actually use and reordered to match the sequence you work in. The choice is yours alone — nobody else in your lab sees your layout.
Open form field settings
Open Settings from your account menu and choose the Form Fields tab.
Choose a form
Pick the form you want to change in the Form selector — Animal, Cage, Mating, Litter, Strain, Protocol, Plug Event, or Health Record.
Show or hide fields
Check the box beside each field you want on the form, and uncheck the ones you don't. Required fields are always shown and cannot be hidden.
Reorder the fields
Drag a field by its handle to move it up or down. The form renders in the order shown here.
Save your layout
Click Save. An Unsaved changes marker appears until you do, and switching to another form offers to discard the change.
