    How to Configure Daily Reports

Daily Reports deliver a morning briefing of your colony—new litters, upcoming weans, genotype results, and cage actions—via email. PIs and lab managers use this to stay on top of the colony without logging in.

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    1

    Open the Settings page

Click Settings in the navigation menu, then select the Reports tab.

    2

    Click Daily Reports

Under the Reports section, find Daily Reports and click Configure or Edit.

    3

    Add report recipients

Enter email addresses for lab members who should receive the report. You can add multiple recipients—typically the PI and lab manager.

    Pro Tip

Press Enter or click **Add** after each email address. Use your institution's email domain for reliable delivery.

    4

    Choose report sections

Check the boxes for the information you want included: New Litters, Upcoming Weans, Genotype Results, Cage Actions, and IACUC Notes. Uncheck sections you don't need.

    Pro Tip

New Litters and Upcoming Weans are enabled by default; most labs keep these checked.

    5

    Set send time

Choose the time each morning the report should be sent. The default is 6:00 AM in your organization's time zone.

    Pro Tip

Pick a time just before your lab's morning huddle or cage checks.

    6

    Save and preview

Click Save Report Settings. A preview email is sent immediately so you can verify the layout and content.
